In groups, you can provide value for a week and gain exposure to a new audience. The audience will absorb your advice and take your word seriously. You can start contributing and when the time comes, promote your own content if that’s relevant.

All you need to do is to add your blog URL, main keyword and click Search. Note down the position of the blog post and wait for few days to see if the rank gets improved.

If your post doesn’t show up on front pages of Google, you’ve probably picked a keyword that is too difficult to rank. After monitoring the ranking, you can edit the keyword or make some changes to the blog post.
